About the role
This is contract work scoped per video - not a staff seat. You take camera footage and project notes and return finished edits ready to publish or hand to clients.
What you'll do
- Ingest and organize footage, audio, and graphics for each video assignment
- Build rough cuts for review, then refine to picture lock within agreed revision rounds
- Color grade and mix audio to a consistent house style (LUTs and templates provided when available)
- Export master files and platform-specific variants (YouTube, site embed, short-form)
- Archive project bundles so pickups or sequels don't require rebuilding from scratch
Engagement terms
- Contract - priced per project or per minute of finished video, defined before edit starts
- Typical deliverables: one long-form piece, optional short cut-downs, and project file handoff on request
